About the record

A record for the drive home. Nine or ten minutes past the point where the city goes quiet, when the lights are still on and nobody is left to see them.

Between The Hours is about the gap. The part of the night that is not quite tonight and not yet tomorrow, when the drive is the only thing happening and the only thing that needs to.

I wrote most of it late, with the windows down and the city going by at the speed it goes by. Every track is a different mile of the same road.
